Suspension of Disbelief and Present are part of an ongoing artistic research that utilizes physical phenomena to examine perception, experience and knowledge. Movement, change, and transduction are the main formal elements of this body of work, extending the everyday experience of the world into the imperceptible realm of chemical and physical reactions. They coexist in a perfect equilibrium describing repetitive cycles and unexpected events. The physical character of these small systems, with their particular organizational logic in space and time, challenges preconceptions of our surroundings, specifically of the nature of matter.
