ClimaSens is a climate resilience platform serving governments, businesses, and communities to help plan, prepare, and respond to climate extremes — transforming climate risk to resilience. Daniel Sauter co-founded the company and led data visualization and software development as CTO (2019–2026).

Platform

ClimaScan, the flagship climate risk analytics solution, provides comprehensive climate risk screening, analysis, financial impact assessment, and resilience planning — available as a white-label solution for enterprise customers. WeatherSens is an advanced early warning system combining weather forecasting with climate intelligence to deliver actionable alerts for climate-related hazards. SensAI, the platform’s embedded AI assistant, unlocks climate risk insights from terabytes of data: natural-language queries drive mapping, hazard and scenario analysis, and location-aware workflows across heat, flood, fire, and more.

Recognition

ClimaSens is a winner of the Verizon Disaster Resilience Prize, in partnership with the Atlantic Council, and is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Humanitech (Australian Red Cross) profiles how ClimaSens combines heat forecasting with neighbourhood-level social vulnerability to target humanitarian support during extreme heat, growing from a TeleRedi pilot to seven programs.

Role: Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer (2019–2026), leading data visualization and software development.
