Website for the UCLA's Department of Design | Media Arts. In collaboration with Pete Conolly.
The design conzept of the website is a modular framework for events, projects and information about UCLA's DMA department. The buttons/surfaces which stand out due to their 3dimensional quality are placehoders for variable content out of the category they stand for. Their appearance and positioning is related to the context the visitor is navigating through.
This flexible navigation structure allows intuitive user guidance and the possibility to feature specific sections according to needs of actuality within the department. The design of the site itself is intended to be a generous environment shifting the focus on projects and events in their heterogenous nature.
